The Bose Surround Speakers 700 connect wirelessly to the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar, Bose Smart Soundbar 600, Bose Smart Soundbar 900, Bose Smart Soundbar 300, Bose Smart Soundbar 700, Bose Soundbar 500 and the SoundTouch 300 soundbar—so no wires are required from the front of the room to the back. But the Bose Surround Speakers 700 do require electrical power to power the wireless receivers, and there is a speaker wire connecting the wireless receivers to the speaker itself.
No. The Bose Surround Speakers 700 can only be connected wirelessly.
The Bose Surround Speakers 700 have a range of about 30 ft.
We recommend placing the speakers behind the main listening area, one on the left side and one on the right of the room for optimum sound quality.

Love 900
Got this product a few days ago and I can finally have a full theater experience at home ! It took some time to connect, but I left it overnight and it found my TV and connected through HDMI. First I plugged into the regular HDMI, but the App told me to connect to ARC and it worked!

Unparalleled Performance!
I bought the Bose 900 four months ago and wouldn't go back. I have the surround speakers and the sub. The sounds are amazing for movies and music. Immersive isn't adequate! Unparalleled performance! Oh, Alexa is nice, too.
BTW, I've had multiple Lifestyle systems since the 90's, this system is the BEST... a soundbar, who would have thought? Dialogue is excellent, too.

Excellent features
I used Bose 700 series from 2018 and now around 6 months ago I upgraded with 900 series and it’s completely outstanding with my expectations. I welcome if we can get upgrade to 7.1 speaker system to fill my room since this only gives up to 5.1 speaker system.

Choose Soundbar 900 over smaller models
Thanks to Bose incredible customer service, they let me exchange my lower model soundbar for the 900 and it made all the difference. I kept my smaller base module and it was the perfect combination. If you have a larger space I would go with the soundbar 900 and larger base module. The newer OLED TVs have great sound (I found equal to the smaller soundbar), so to get the full theater sound, the soundbar 900 made all the difference. I always order directly from Bose because of the outstanding quality of their customer service department and help. Doesn’t get any better, thank you Bose!! Other products I have used of Bose that are in a league of their own: Noise cancelling ear buds (and headphones), mini soundlink, soundlink, and as a professional vocalist/musician, their performance pole sound system for gigs.

Very clear dialogue, decent bass, amazing sound. I like sounds quality, this is the case that you can states:
The soundbar is really good.
Subwoofer is highly recommended. Only for one reason: you will enjoy music and movies 98%. But if you need 100% sound satisfaction, you can add front and rear speakers. Keep in mind you home decoration. Front and right speakers could disrupt your adorable home deco.
But if you count with the room like cinema. The full
setup include Soundbar, Subwoofer, front and right speakers.

I had listened to a long time friend’s Bose 900 w/the Bose 700 bass speaker set up and was very impressed with the sound quality. I have other Bose speakers from the Bose mini to the Bose 301’s. I would recommend them to anyone interested.
