The Bose Surround Speakers 700 connect wirelessly to the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar, Bose Smart Soundbar 600, Bose Smart Soundbar 900, Bose Smart Soundbar 300, Bose Smart Soundbar 700, Bose Soundbar 500 and the SoundTouch 300 soundbar—so no wires are required from the front of the room to the back. But the Bose Surround Speakers 700 do require electrical power to power the wireless receivers, and there is a speaker wire connecting the wireless receivers to the speaker itself.

The Bose Surround Speakers 700 have a range of about 30 ft.
We recommend placing the speakers behind the main listening area, one on the left side and one on the right of the room for optimum sound quality.

Home Theater Experience
The Bose Bass Module 700 is more than I expected. The bass is strong and fills the entire room with the moment on the screen. But only as it should be. I now have an actual home theater experience everytime I watch a movie. I wish I had purchased the Bose soundbar and Bass unit much sooner. It is worth the cost.

I replaced a several years old Bose (much lower system) speaker system. It was better than the TV speakers and served me well. Replaced other equipment and found the need to replace my speaker system. Got the 900 at a very good price. Installed it, and now almost never need closed caption. I'm running the volume much lower but hearing everything much more clearly. I love the distributed sound, it makes enjoying movies much better. Would not hesitate recommending this equipment. Typically great Bose gear!

Great sound, no wires!!
After the premature failure of two home theatre speaker packages, I decided to go with a brand that had a reputation for performance and reliability. Having just purchased my 900 Sound Bar and 700 Sub, I cannot speak to their reliability just yet. I can, however, speak to their quality of sound reproduction. I’ve used Pinnacle and Definitive Technolgy and the Bose system exceeds the Pinnacle by far and rivals the Definitive Tech in sound Quality. The 700 Sub just doesn’t quite have the clarity of the Definite Tech, but it’s not far off. The best feature for me is the wireless technology. It allowed me to remove the AV receiver and just rely on the decoding that comes through a Samsung Q90. Quite remarkable! Great sound, cleaner entertainment center, win-win!

Sounded as good and loud in a. 10x12 room, extreme clarity and ease of use. Upward firing Dolby Atmos transducers or speakers.b Are very good at $599 it's a great price, but the Ultra at $799 right now is good too. So I didn't get to use the dialog clarity feature that's new but not much of a difference. 2021 model for 900 and 2023 Bose Ultra Soundbar depends on if your impressions of the dialog A.I. feature added to the ultra. Thank you Bose, great soundbars and other audibley fantastic products. Be blessed all!

I bought the base speaker to pair with a 900 Smartbar. I enjoyed the 900 with it as a stand-alone it dud great for a straight up sound bar. It was phenomenal for movies and such. However I thought that I was asking a little too much of it for my classic rock music taste. So I picked up the 700 base on a Black Friday deal. WOW…. What a difference! Thus small in size little package really puts out the base. I couldn’t be happier with the Sound-bar /Base performance. I read reviews from multiple brands before purchasing Bose. I had my choice narrowed to Bose & one other competitor. 100% transparency I went with Bose because they had a sale on my first purchase, the 900 Sound-bar. As the old saying goes. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. Bose has absolutely knocked it out of the park with these products. I’ve seen a few reviews that were unflattering to Bose. Honestly…. I have to wonder about people writing those reviews. This stuff is fantastic. Even when I was having a glitch understanding an operation. I called customer service, spoke to a very patient, understanding person. She had my issue resolved in about 5 minutes. And guess what? The problem was that I wasn’t performing the operation as the instructions directed. I can’t help but wonder if that isn’t fairly common with some if the trashy reviews.
If your budget allows…. Go Bose… you will be happy that you did!

SOUNDS LIKE A WINNER
My wife and I have really enjoyed our new Bose 900 soundbar and 700 subwoofer. It is like having a cinema in our living room. The bar itself is low profile and attractive. I bought the wall mounts but found that I like it just fine on the edge of our entertainment center. My only complaint would be with the app. I had a devil of a time getting the soundbar to "handshake" with our wifi. It ended up that the 900 didn't like a special character in my password. For whatever reason your unit didn't like the "+" sign. I am sharing this for the sake of posterity because it took me 5 hours to figure this out.

I have heard this soundbar before in a store and thought it was pretty amazing. I have it now on my entertainment system and HOLY COW. This soundbar is more amazing that I thought. Super easy to set up, easy to use with the app and the sound quality.....WOW. Bose knocked it out of the park with this one. I can't wait to add a sound woofer to complete the set (it's pretty darn good without one).
