No. Although SoundLink Home is a Bluetooth speaker that can be moved from one place to another, it is not designed to withstand exposure to liquid. Keep it in a dry area and avoid using it in the bathroom or exposing it to wet environments and water.

Multipoint is a Bluetooth technology that allows your SoundLink Home to maintain a connection to two paired source devices at the same time. Your speaker will seamlessly transition between the two devices, so you’re always connected to the active source device.

You can connect SoundLink Home to another SoundLink Home Speaker. You can’t connect SoundLink Home to other Bose Bluetooth speakers or smart speakers and soundbars.

No. You can only connect SoundLink Home Speaker to another SoundLink Home Speaker in Stereo Mode.

  1. Power on both speakers.
  2. Make sure one speaker is connected to your device or USB audio source. This will be the primary speaker.
  3. On the speaker connected to your device or USB audio source, press and hold the Bluetooth button and the Volume up button simultaneously until you hear “Press the Bluetooth and Volume down buttons simultaneously on a second Bose device.”
  4. On the other speaker, press and hold the Bluetooth button and the Volume down button simultaneously until you hear a tone. You will hear “Stereo Mode,” followed by “Left” on the primary speaker and “Right” on the secondary speaker.

Now I am not tech savvy so this is mostly on me. I read that you push blue tooth and the volume up simultaneously to make it stereo. The speaker keeps telling me to push blue tooth and volume down simultaneously. I have done both but still having trouble getting both to work. Now if you are tech savvy you will not have an issue with this. My daughter is tech savvy and worked it in a hot minute. I would buy these speakers again. I absolutely love them. And let me add that I ordered them the day before Christmas Eve and got them on Christmas Eve. Bravo Bose! A job very well done. I would like tech savvy instructions for low tech people.

The only way I like to do any work at my desk is with this speaker. Been a Bose fan for years and their speakers just keep getting better and better. Get compliments from coworkers all the time. Makes work fun! Looks clean and professional. Perfect for a desk or around the house. I always recommend to try a Bose before making any decision about a new speaker. You wont be disappointed!

I actually still have it, but it seemed to not hold a charge very well, so I decided to try this one. I really do love it. Love the microphone so we can talk with folks and not use our cell phone speaker. Great range. When you turn the speaker on, it automatically connects to your cell phone. A note: you connect the speaker through your phone settings function, not through the Bose app. This speaker is not on the app yet.

I had the soundlink flex before this and that was a nice sounding speaker. However the soundlink home has better clarity in the highs and more bass. It’s a really nice sounding speaker. Don’t expect to fill a large room with this speaker, but in a medium room it sounds right when placed nearby. In fact, I really love listening to it right next to me. I also own a ue ever boom, which is priced at $250. The soundlink home speaker has a richer, more detailed sound signature, but the everboom can get louder. Overall, I am very happy with the sound and looks of this speaker, but if you need something to fill a large room with sound or take outside, this isn’t the one.

This is not the speaker you take to the pool, instead it complements you desk at the office or any room in your home. It has a nice rugged aluminum frame surrounding a fabric case. This speaker can be paired with a second speaker for full stereo sound. Oh, the sound -- Boom!! this speaker can fill a room!

I’ve used this speaker in my house, in a warehouse (at work), and outside in the yard. The sound never changed and would always fill the space. I liked the function (if you have 2 SoundLink Home speakers) of stereo mode. You don’t have to have the Bose connect app, instead link the two speakers with the Bluetooth and volume button after connecting 1 speaker to the blue took device. It didn’t matter if I had my phone, my wife’s phone, or a friends phone, just connect to the device and play the music. Not need having to have someone else download the app.

They down fall I see is the cloth front and back may get dirty especially if toddlers get their hands on it or a lot of outdoor use especially when bbqing. Having the cloth could cause alot of higenic issues.
